Stepping is an artform that uses the body as an instrument to create intricate rhythms and sounds through a combination of footsteps, claps and spoken word.
Montreal Steppers present their inaugural show The Roots of Step which emphasizes this artform and its evolution in the African Diaspora. The show will highlight the resilience and creativity of our ancestors and the importance of us coming together to live, succeed, thrive and SHINE.
In celebration of Black History Month and as a commitment to the Montreal community, a percentage of all ticket sales will be donated to various community organizations.
